Hey everyone! I’m Nico, the guy writing all this stuff. For parts of the last 10 years or so I’ve been commited to something that has always been a burning desire for me – exploring. Along the roller coaster of a ride, I’ve crossed borders into 10 countries and learned 2 foreign languages, Spanish (advanced) and Portuguese (intermediate).
My greatest memories have come from traveling, during which I’ve become internationalized as sort of an expert backpacker, living abroad for 4-8 months at a time, including lengthy stints of 6 months in a single country.
Since September 2025 I’ve been writing this blog to share my experiences with likeminded adventurers, doing my best to give back to the travel community that has been so influential in my life. Hopefully there isn’t a real end in sight for me any time soon!
