VIDEO CONSULTATION
The consultation consists of a video call up to 60 minutes. We’ll discuss your goals, destination(s), interests, travel style, budget, and anything else that’s important to you. Think of it as sitting down with a veteran backpacker who can help you make sense of all the possibilities and come to certain decisions before you hit the road. We’ll also get to know your general temperament and routine to determine what kind of travel schedule fits you as an individual.
I’ll draw from my years of firsthand knowledge to offer practical advice, answer your questions, help you weigh your options, and point you toward experiences and approaches that may not be obvious from a typical travel guide. By the end of the call, you’ll have a more clear picture of how to proceed with your trip. If things go fast enough, who knows, maybe we’ll plan an entire trip for you on the spot!
CUSTOM TRIP OVERVIEW
After our video call, if you feel the need for something more comprehensive, I can draw up an in-depth trip overview for you. This is a separate service from the consultation and is designed specifically around your general destination(s), travel style, interests, desired trip length and dates, and budget.
The review will include things like:
- Accommodation options
- Activities & Touristic sites
- Native customs
- Transportation (commuting & flights)
- Special events
- Cuisine and Restaurants
- Social night life
- Culture
- Geography and weather
- General information regarding entering and exiting said country(ies)
Just as a side note, there’s a way to travel on virtually every budget—from a broke volunteer and hitchhiker to the millionaire. I’ve seen a pretty wide spectrum of it.
SCHEDULED ITINERARY
On top of the overview, I can generate a chronologically formatted itinerary for your trip. It will include a daily or weekly schedule, depending on the length of your travels. Covering activities, commuting, food, prices, etc.
Generally speaking, if you’re traveling for 3 months or longer, I do not recommended excessively timed schedules.
Language Learning Strategy
Video consultation + custom study regiment – $60 USD
This service begins with a video consultation of up to 60 minutes to discuss your language learning goals and expectations, and shed some light on the realistic possibilities of reaching them. Just as important is learning about you as a person, from how you like to learn, to what motivates you. Based on our conversation I will generate a daily regiment for you to follow that fits your living/travel situation and general budget.
It is said that fewer than 5% of INDEPENDENT LANGUAGE LEARNERS reach a B1 level, the base intermediate level on the CEFR scale (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). Whether you are a complete beginner or intermediate, I can assist you in reaching the next level. There isn’t a set method to learn a foreign language, but having a system will increase your chances of actually doing it.
My four pillars to learning a new language are:
- Grammar & vocabulary repetition
- Visualization
- Listening
- Native exposure & conversation (includes the relation between culture and language)
It is my honest belief that if you properly utiliize my regiment, you will reach at least an intermediate or advanced level of speaking and listening over time. The amount of time it takes for each skill will depend on a wide variety of things, from the specific language, amount of exposure to native speakers, and time devoted to daily practice. I’ve learned 2 foreign languages from scratch. In order to accomplish this, I’ve had to very consistent.

- suggested tutors

- Software recommendations to learn or review material
